NETBACKUP XP java console error

HAve a windows XP PC, installed Netbackup Java Console

Host Server is a Solaris

Able to ping HOST IP

Error on Java Console comunicating with HOST, any Ideas?

Are you using the Master's hostname or IP address in the Java logon screen?

If hostname, can you ping the hostname from your XP PC?

Easiest is to add entry for your master in your PC's hosts file.

Tell us more detail about the error. Did you get any messages on popup? Check the version of server and java GUI(GUI must be same or later patch version), and your firewall configuration.
