NetBackup 7.6.X compatibility with VMware 5.5 U2

Is there any version of NBU 7.6.X which officially supports VMware 5.5 U2?

Not yet, probably in 7.6.0.4. U1 is supported in 7.6.0.3

U2 not supported in 7.6.0.4 and 7.6.1. maybe in future release.

vSphere 5.5 U2 is supported since NBU 7.6.0.2 because VDDK 5.5.0 and 5.5.1 (available in NBU 7.6.0.3) supports vSphere version N-2 and N+1.

Just wanted to clarify what Stev has pointed out.

NBU 7.6.0.2 (using VDDK 5.5) and 7.6.0.3 (using VDDK 5.5 U1) are compatible with vSphere 5.5 U2, according to the N+1, N-2 reference in the VMware documentation Stev linked to above; however our support of NetBackup in these environments would not include support for any new features introduced in newer versions of vSphere and would also be subject to support changes made by VMware regarding the interoperability of their VDDK/vSphere components as well as our official statement of support outlined in the document below.

This document was updated today (10/16/2014) to clarify which VMware versions we support for NetBackup version 7.6.0.2 and later.
