Hi,
Where I can find the similar document for NetBackup v7.1 Installation / Uninstall Instructions.
http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH140347
And a roll-back of the master server from v7.1 to v7.0.1 will it require a catalog recovery??

Links to all NBU 7.1 documentation: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH154178
Install/Upgrade/Uninstall info in the installation guides:
NetBackup Installation Guide for UNIX and Linux http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC3647
NetBackup Installation Guide for Windows http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC3648
You are correct - rollback to 7.0.1 will consist of the following:
Uninstall 7.1 (for Solaris that will be a pkgrm)
Install 7.0
Patch to 7.0.1
Recover catalog

I don't know, maybe it should be separate discussion..
Anyway, does anyone use some sophisticated software to mount ISO images of NBU downloaded from Fileconnect? This is about installing the NBU directly from .iso on WS 2008 (64 bit).

NetBackup_7.1_Win_zip.1of2
NetBackup_7.1_Win_zip.2of2
Downloaded the above from connect, tried to change each to a .zip but this doesn't work. Trying to perform an install.
Any help would be great.

From the README:
To join NetBackup 7.1 Windows
-------------------------------------
1. Download all similarly prefixed image files, for example, "_zip.1of2" and "_zip.2of2".
2. Run the appropriate command to join the .zip files together:
- On UNIX systems:
cat "NetBackup_7.1_Win_zip.1of2" "NetBackup_7.1_Win_zip.2of2" > "NetBackup_7.1_Win.zip"
- On Windows systems:
copy /b "NetBackup_7.1_Win_zip.1of2"+"NetBackup_7.1_Win_zip.2of2" "NetBackup_7.1_Win.zip"
3. Use an md5sum command to ensure that your number matches the below provided
value.
md5sum NetBackup_7.1_Win.zip = 3ac2f05e7b91a0d56e8c088395ef8e1c
Also, the "Size" value is: 1.96 GB (2,115,515,470 bytes)
NOTE: You can download the MD5sum utilities from many sites, choose one that
you trust.
4. After you have successfully joined the files, you are ready to uncompress the
packages.
