Hi everyone,
Good day, I'm very new w/ NetBackup and Red Hat Linux. The company i'm working right now wants to implement a test environment for NetBackup, so far i have succesfully installed NetBackup 7.5 on the Redhat linux 6 x86_64 server and I have also attached the iscsi disk storage device on it. But when i run the NetBackup device configuration wizard, it could not detect the attached iscsi disk storage device. Is there a configuration somewhere i'm missing? because I thought it is automatically detected by NetBackup.
Hoping for your kind answers and thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Bapi

...it could not detect the attached iscsi disk storage device.
The Device Configuration wizard is for tape devices.
Unless you are trying to configure the disk as Media Server Dedupe? (Different wizard...)
What exactly do you want to do with the disk storage?
Basic disk?
Advanced disk?
Dedupe?
What kind of license keys do you have that will allow for disk backups?
If we know what you want to do with the iscsi disk, we can point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the response guys, like what Marianne said the wizard was for tape devices. so i re run the wizard like what inn_kam said, until i reach the device configuration wizard where i have to create a disk storage with the specified path, entered the required data and restarted the console. then boom! it's now detected.
Thanks guys and God bless you both!
Sincerely,
