Netbackup 6.5 and backing up DPM 2007?

Is Netbackup 6.5 out of the box able to backup Microsoft DPM 2007? Or do I need additional software? Is it DPM Aware? VSS or do I have to use dpmbackup.exe to allow these to be backed up.

Thanks,

Steve

Steve,

Any luck getting an answer to this? I'm in the same situation - running DPM 2007, but can't get it to recognize my tape library so I'd like to use NetBackup to back up the DPM server to tape.

Thanks, Adam

It seems our org is also in this situation.

We are now running MS Exchange 2007 on a Win Server 2008 box, and are backing it up with DPM 2007.

Does 6.5.3.1 have an agent for DPM? Or do we have create flat files on the DPM, and then backup across mount points?

Thanks,

~Jim

Steve, you should update from "6.5 out of the box" to 6.5.3.

Also, check the Compatibility Lists to see if there is an Agent for this:
