Hi All,

I just tried & tested it and I had updated the newly create account in auth.conf file.

Also fully qualified host name was given while logging in.

Now am able to access the Java Console.

Thank you all for the valualble input.

Rather install Windows Java Console on your desktop.

To use Java Console the way you are trying to will need some x-terminal software installed on your desktop.

you can install symantec Netbackup-java  7.0 with addition og Maintainance release 5 in order ot get the Java console on your windows .

Check the LD_LIBRARY path.

run ldd on  /usr/lib/hpux64/dld.so and 'libnbclientST.so

I suspect that the libraries are not linked correctly.

Similar directions are in http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH72764   (just different libraries).

Do this on the HP/UX master.

Good luck,

NetBackup java is not smart and it needs to be the exact same version as the master server you are logging into. 7.5.0.x whatever version the master is your java version needs to be the same.

try running the Nbjava with " run as administrator" by selecting the icon and Right click>> Run As Administrator

I could be that java  console was installed with the local user rather than the Admin user account .
