Hi everyone,
When I am running my backups every night at 9 PM our performance of production servers has gone down. Does backup create these issues. If yes what would be your suggestion?.
Thanks

disk & network I/O, processor & memory usage.
A few simple things to consider:
Schedule during "quiet" periods.
Spread the load of the backups out over the backup window.
Don't multi-stream saves or if you do only allow one to run on one client at one time.
Are you looking at Windows, *NIX, filers? Filesystem or database saves?

I am backing up one sever at a time. I am running on Linux systems. it is a regular backups like any file changes it will back up that file.
