Restore Tape from Netbackup 6.5.6 to 7.5 server

I have archived tapes that were backed up using Netbackup 6.5.6. Can the data on these tapes be restored using Netbackup 7.5?

 Of course, it is possible unless backups have been taken with discontinued features.

If the tape are "alien" (not made by the current system)  you need to import them first:

We have seen the other day how NBU 5.1 tapes were successfully imported on 7.5 server.

I can see no reason why it won't work.
