Restore files to CIFS share (UNC path)

Is it technically possible to restore files which has been backedup from server A to CIFS share using server B?

if it is possible has anybody succeeded on this?

and how to do it?

Instead of giving you the operational answer straight away, first let's go over some nbu logic:
When you restore something, a media server will have to mount the data for reading (be it tape or disk data), then forward that data to its target destination - typically to a netbackup client.

Regardless of where you launch the Backup Archive Restore (BAR) interface from, the media server that will handle the actual restore job would by default be the media server that handled the backup in the first place.
(This behavior can be changed, but let's not go there now.)

For CIFS UNC path restore to work, the media server that handles the restore job will have to have its Netbackup Client Service credentials changed from the default Local System Account, to an account that has read/write permissions to the UNC path location:

Possible, but you have some task to accomplish it.

NetBackup client is running with LocalSystem privilege by default, and have no right to access network resources. To allow access to CIFS, some services on NetBackup client must be running with user privilege which have access right to CIFS. Please follow step 3 in this technote. Make sure you have to specify restore destination in UNC pathname.
