Restore on Exchange fails with 48

Hello, I know that error 48 is related to hostname resolution.
But I can see and make backups normally, but the restore fails.

It is cluster with client/media server with Windows 2003 connected to the library via FC, the restore fails on both nodes.

The restore is a single box and log files of a Storage Group to mount the database after restore.

Even with this "48", the connection are maded properly.

~# bptestbpcd -host exchange_cluster -verbose

Can you please confirm a few things for us...

Version of exchange you are running

Is this a single exchange server that is clustered?

When you do the restore are you going to a recovery storage group or overwriting the original?

Have you selected virtual cluster name as the source and destination client?

Do you have the /netbackup/db/altnames/No.Restrictions file in place on the Master Server?

If you open the BAR GUI on the Media Server and then go to the select netbackup machines and policies you should be able to select the source and destination client as the exchange virtual name and the MS-Exchange policy type to do the restore from there (best do this on the active node)

Before you try the restore again setup bpcd, bpbrm and bpkar logs folders on the client (both nodes) and when it fails show us the full text of the restore job and any logs from those folders.

Finally for now ... please, please upgrade - NBU 6.5 went end of life a long time ago!!!

from where you are triggering the restore?

is it from the Master server or some other server?

From the Master Server via the Java Console.
Also, I can't figure how I can restore exchange from the BAR in the media server.
