Hi Everybody,

Thank you in advance to all the valuable input you have for the issue! I'm trying to sort out though i'm really as an NBU admin.

The title says much about the issue: we have Sharepoint backup job with GRT, runs for a while but fails with code 196. I can tell that we have ample time for this job to run but for some reason it fails with this code. Please refer to the details below:

Possibly this?

Under certain circumstances, NetBackup may skip a random stream during SharePoint backups, resulting in an inability to restore.

Thanks for the reply Andy; will sure give this a try if there's no other options. Based from the info that I've provided, what made you suggest that could be the issue?

Any other options?

As EC196 is generally an 'easy' one to resolve in the normal scheme of things (resources mainly) I was just looking to see if there was anything specific to Sharepoint for the same code & this was all I came up with.

Plus it's always good to be on the most up-to-date release (says he!)
