What is Exchange version?
Mailbox backups are only supported up to Exch 2007.

What steps have you taken to configure mailbox backups?
There are long lists of documented requirements and steps specific to Exchange version.

We are currently using Exchange 2003 Enterprise Edition.  We use Netbackup to configure mailbox backups.  I am backing up the Information stores, mailboxes, and the Q and M drives.  I will look for the steps specific to my version and compare was setup before I arrived in this position.  Just wanted to know if there were any common reasons why there a several status code 1s.

Please review steps in this TN: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH18705

Hopefully you have 3 separate policies to backup
Information stores,
mailboxes,
and the Q and M drives
and we are just troubleshooting mailbox policy here?

Please show us your mailbox policy config - open cmd on master server and run the following from <install-path>\netbackup\bin\admincmd:

bppllist <policy-name> -U
