Throttle Bandwidth

Hi,

We planning to backup Teradata using netbackup between two sites.

There is way to configure "Throttle Bandwidth" in Teradata host ? We dont want to overload the network between the sites.

I saw in few post that in the past versions we couldnt do that. Right now we using NB 7.1.0.4.

Thanks,

David.

I dont see an update to this tech note anywhere - it looks like bandwidth throttling is not supported for all policy types which included teradata: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH153326

Hope this helps

If this is a teradata database it looks like it is no longer supported by Symantec (though it is by teradata http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH87433 ) so i cannot imagine that the earlier tech note is likely to change meaning that the bandwidth throttling is unlikely to ever work for teradata policy types

There is a bandwith tab in master server properties:

I do not know if this work with the terradata extension. The Teradata Extension for NetBackup

Administrator Guide did not help either.
