Unable to Open the Schedule Properties on Running Java Console

Friends,

NBU Enviornment upgraded from 7.5.0.3 to 7.5.0.4

I ran into a problem the other day where all of a sudden i was unable to open the properties of the schedule on my windows machine thats runs JAVA console. Did some investigation and found out there is a known issue with 7.5.0.3. see below. i first surprised that it has been running for almost a year without any issues.

Etrack Incident: 2735153

Problem: When a schedule is viewed or edited that has an overridden storage lifecycle, policy, the policy interface freezes until the NetBackup-Java Administration Console is restarted.

i upgraded my whole NBU enviornment Source (1xMaster, 11x Media servers 8 sitting locally (virtual) and 3 at remote sites (physical)) and Target Domain (same set of servers)..

The issue seems to have been resolved but only if i fire up the jnbSA& on a master server all works fine.

I than upgraded my Java Console version on windows box from 7.5.0.3 to 7.5.0.4 and guess what problem is still there?

found the following tech note and generated the logs but its not leading me anywhere..

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH154433

any suggestion would highly be appreciated.

upgrade to 7.5.0.4..

upgrade the java console to 7.5.0.4

and then follow this technote and call symantec to grab that nbjP.jar file.

I need to argue that the above reply isn't the solution as the EEB in TECH193058 is for 7.5 only and wouldn't apply to your environment.

In fact, every issue mentioned in ALL of the previously referenced TechNotes was fixed in (or prior to) 7.5.0.4.

If you are still experiencing issues at 7.5.0.4 (and confirm that that Windows Java console is at 7.5.0.4 by selecting Help > About NetBackup Administration Console), you may want to call us and open a case - or you may want to apply 7.5.0.5 before you call us.
