Hello,
I have an issue, I have vault policies to suspend and eject tapes to offsite.
Hovewer I wish to keep one of the tapes that is supposed to be sent offsite for a restore, I reinserted the tape but each time vault job is launched, the tape is suspended.
Grateful if I can be helped about this?

I don't believe that you can prevent vault doing this as there is no where to exclude a single tape from the process.
However, you could right click on the tape in NBU and select MOVE - then select Standalone
NetBackup then thinks it is no longer in the library (even though it still is)
When you need to use it for a restore just update the inventory to see it again

You can restore from a suspended tape.
The only thing you cannot do is to add more backups.

Thank you for your reply, I wrongly stated my issue, the problem is that the tape is being ejected everyday when vault job is done and I have to make someone reinsert it again everyday. I dont know if there is a way to add an exception for a particular tape so that it is not ejected.
