WIN32 1450: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service

Hi All,

We are facing some issue of backing up the data for Windows 2003 server.

Error msgs are below.

 

from client xxxx : ERR - failure reading file: E:\xvy\ABC.mdf (WIN32 1450: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service. )

from client xxxx : ERR - failure reading file: E:\xvy \ABC_1.ndf (WIN32 1450: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service. )

 

Kindly assist.

Master Server :- Solaris 10

Media Server(Client) :- Windows 2003

NBU Version :- 6.5.4

If it's .mdf and .ldf (SQL Database files) if these database are online then it would be difficult for MS VSS to capture those data. If SQL database needs to be protected so create SQL policies

It is an offline backup.

 

Database is not up during the backup.

Hi SpeedTrack,

 

Issue has been resolve as we rebooted the server and changes the registry as per KB article.

Now backup has completed successfully.

 

Sorry For late reply ,as i am working in rotation shift and was busy in activities from last 2-3 months.

I will give you feedback in short course time next time onwards.
