What Exchange Servers Do I Install the Netbackup 7.5 Client On? CAS, MBX, Both?

For GRT with Netbackup 7.5.0.6 and Exchange 2010 SP2.

I have 2 HUB\CAS servers and 2 MAILBOX servers in a DAG. Which servers do I need to install the Netbackup Client on?

you need to install netbackup on all Mail box servers in DAG for backups..

and also all CAS servers for restore.. 

so its like, netbackup needs to install on all CAS and DAG nodes of the exhange.

and they are few other configuration also that you need to do to have have the successfull backup and restore of exchage 2010  GRT backups.

■ The NetBackup client software is installed as follows:

■ In a non-VMware environment, on the computer that has the databases you want to back up.

Install the NetBackup client software on the computer that has the Exchange

Server, any off-host clients, and all CAS servers that are used for mailbox

databases. In an Exchange Server cluster, install the NetBackup client on

each node in the cluster.

■ In a VMware environment, the NetBackup client software must be installed

on the virtual machines that have Exchange running.
