Hi,

Problem may cause due to high IO load on the disk and thus making the disk busy. You should change the original location of shadow copy of the drive to the newly presented disk. This will reduce the IO load on the disk being backed up.

Action: Check the All Log Entries and Problems reports to determine which system call failed

got the solution:

Checked host properties >master server .client attributes .client set to vss for wofb
Checked the files in c:\program files\common files\veritas\ and there were two folders vxms
 
Checked verion of "libntfs.dll" file in \map version :4.1.x, And another vxms65 "libntfs.dll" file version :5.1.120
 
Uninstalled  the client Installed again, then Checked version of "libntfs.dll" file version ,5.1.120
 
Checked registry path of vxms, Set to R:
 
The Map,shared and messages folders are on R: So moved them to c:\program files\common files\veritas\vxms folder

Changed registry location and Modified Registry location HKLM\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\VxMS\InstallDir32 to c:\program files\common files\veritas\vxms Updated to 6.5.5
 
Created
Dword value 'NoDirectSDR' in HKLM\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\VxMS set to. 1
