Hi,
I'm having a problem with a few of my Windows boxes. bpbkar32 is exceeding 90% CPU utilization. and its not just a one time thing. the issue is repeated every once in a while, and on multple machines. the machines run windows 2008 r2 and netbackup agent 6.5.6.
I would open a support case if I knew how. I'm new to the Symantec and Netbackup world, so I'm struggling with openning a case. So I figured I'd post a question here.
Thanks,

ha ha ... Nicolai comes up with the saem TN whilst I am typing my answer ... <wave> Hi Nicolai ...
... right, if it is not the issue in the TN, when does the problem happen :
When you run a backup, you are runnign the same bpbkar binary each time.
This would suggest, that the issue happens when you are backing up particular files, does it happen around the same time each time it happens ?

The patch attached to this technote :

Contains a change that may reduce the CPU %
