bpinetd.exe using 50% cpu on Netbackup media server

Good morning everybody.

We are running Netbackup Ver 5.1MP2. We have one master server and 4 media servers all running MS Windows Server 2003. On one of the media servers bpinetd.exe is using 50% of the cpu at this time, when there are no backups or restores running. At other times it can go as high as the high 90's. Do any you have any idea why this is happening ? Or do you know of a way that I could find out ?

Thanks,

Are there any other NetBackup processes running on the server at the same time? The master and media servers do communicate quite a bit but that is through vmd not through bpinetd usually. Bpinetd usage, as far as I know, should be minimal unless there is a backup. I would look for rogue processes that might be holding bpinetd open.
