Hi all,

I need help here with "check_coverage" command. Yesterday, I've ran "check_coverage" command but it did not return any output in \temp. when I try to run the command again, it gave me this "You are already running Check_Coverage.Try again later". Is there any way to kill or stop the command? My master backup server is running on Windows server 2003 R2.

Thanks in advance

Mizi

hi,

you can kill the Current running Process from Windows Task manager..

when you run the command ,it is not returning any output indicates, there may be a clients that are not connecting to the master server, and this command is trying to connect those till its timer expires.

i assue you did run the bpplclients command proir to the check_coverage command

check_coverage.cmd is batch file. There are no process named check_coverage in Task Manager.

BTW, did you canceled check_coverage by CTRL+C or closing Command Prompt window?
If you canceled, it is just because of waste. Run "del %TEMP%\CC.*" and try again.

Hi Yasuhisa Ishikawa,

Yes I did press CTRL+C. May I know what "del %TEMP%\CC.*" does? And what is the correct command or syntax to use "check_coverage" command?

Thank you

"del %TEMP%\CC.*" removes temproray files which check_coverage created.
no argument needed for check_coverage. Just run it on the master server.

check_coverage -hardware -hosts

Completed report for hosts

The Hardware/OS Report can be found in /tmp/hardware_rpt.04-12@13:56
