java console jnbSA file is missing from master. (Netbackup 7.5.0.4)

Dear all,

My NetBackup environment.

Master server

OS : AIX 6.1

Netbackup Ver. 7.5.0.4

I use x-manager to open netbackup console .

Run command ‘/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/jnbSA &.’

But my problem is that jnbSA file is missing from master.

Is that NetBackup server is effected due to this missing file.

How should I solve this problem ? Should i reinstall JAVA setup on master server?

Command is :

jnbSA &

Note: did you have a dot (.) behind the &?

You don't have to reinstall, just go to another AIX-based NB7.5.0.4 media or master server (if any) and copy its jnbSA binary over.

I have the media server so i need to copy jnbSA binary from media server to master server.

Can we install java binary on windows system and access the AIX master server ?

Yes. You can also use the Windows Administration Console to connect to an AIX master server. Whichever you prefer. I like the native Windows Admin binaries.
