nbpem High CPU and memory ultilization on master server

Hi All,

 

Our netbackup master server ver 6.5.1 is running on a AIX Ver 5.3, we are occuring an error is the backup job cannot be trigger instantly when we manually execute the policy, we observed that many process were queuing on the master server but just less backup jobs can be running and observed at the activity, as we found that the CPU and pagaing memory ulitization is very high on the process nbpem at the master server (CPU ~ 40-50%).

is any user occuring this issue before?? is any solution/patches was released to solve this issue before??

sounds like your aix server is too small in some areas. does it meet the harware requirements?
