restoring using the netvault tape into netbackup

I would like to try to restore using the Netvault tape into Netbackup. is it possible? Anyone can give me step by step to do it. Thanks

Sorry, not possible.

NBU has no reader for any other backup product (except for older versions of Backup Exec).

You will have to find a Netvault server to restore the tape...

only Backup Exec tapes can be restored till Backup Exec version 12.5 only.

As the others have said it cannot be done - if you really need the data you need to find a staging area and restore it all there using netvault and then backup that area up using NetBackup

You do need to structure it carefully though so that you know where all of the original data came from
