Can somebody help me on this?
i am using veritas checkpoint verson 4.5 on Solaris 10 platform
i have registered all datafiles using vxdba before taking checkpoint
Depending on activity in my DB i may have to add a datafile to one of the tablespace while checkpoint is active.In case i want to rollback my DB with Checkpoint storage rollback administration will it be successfull?
I f not what is the solution.Instead of adding a new file if i resize an existing file will rollback be successful?
Also in the new version 5.0 the vxdba menu is totally eliminated
My question is how the Veritas repository registering all the datafiles?is it in built?
we are not using any commands to update the repository
the checkpoint is getting created successfully with db_create commands
