Situation: All Identical HP Servers.
SRD 8.5 Windows Server 2003
Create Custom SRD from Server1 - include the custom disk to hold the IP address of Server1. as well as the HP drivers (identical in all servers)
Shutdown Server1 from Network
Take DVD and boot to Server 7
SRD boots on Server 7 fine
It does NOT have IP address when loaded. when loading IP address manually in Network Configuration Screen it immediately takes the DNS settings and resets all ip addresses to 0.0.0.0
Cannot ping, Cannot make the Network configuration hold manual ip settings. Because of the Custom SRD it will not allow DHCP. (which I don't want anyway)
I'm Stuck, can anyone here, elaborate, or point me to what is going wrong?
