Here's the details on this System Recovery Error.

Started backup at 11/5/2008 at 3:20pm. of the G: drive.  A Baseline .v2i backup.

got to 94%.......at 11/5/2008 at 10:54pm an error occurred.
"Faulting application VProSvc.exe, version 8.0.1.24976, faulting module.  VProImaging.dll, version 8.0.1.24976, fault address 0x0022aaee.
and after that at the same time a few seconds later the Event Viewer shows that this happens...
"Backup Exec System Recovery service started successfully."

If you mstsc /admin to the server, the tsr icon in the system tray shows disconnected, and you have to click on it to reconnect.  This happens if i manually stop and restart the service.

My only assumption is that somehow, somewhere the program is crashing and restarting the service.  Any clues as to what may be going on people?  =)

What operating system are you using?

How big is the partition that is being backed up?

operating system is Windows server 2003 standard, and the size of the partition being backed up is 300gb.  It is not a local hard disk on the server.  It is a presented drive from a SAN.
