Besr upgrade 6.5 to 8.5

Is it possible to upgrade straight from BESR 6.5 to 8.5 or do we need to upgrade first to 7.0 and then on to 8.5

Has anyone done such an upgrade and knows of any caveats or gotchas which may be encountered?

Is there any documentation by Symantec on how to do such an upgrade?

Do Symantec have any recommendations on how to do such an upgrade?

Just logged a call about this with Symantec. Whilst they haven't explicity said it is not possible, their advice was to totally uninstall 6.5, run the 6.5 clean up tool and then install 8.5 fresh as that was a much safer way of doing it given the functionality differences between 6.5 and 8.5

As such, I consider this question closed.
