All,
I finally got an SBS 2008 restore to "semi-boot" problem is, it will boot up until the windows splash screen, i'll get one pass off the progress bar and then it will restart itself. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen a similar issue and found a solution.
I should note that if I attempt to boot in safe mode it crashes at CRCdisk.sys, everytime. I've attempted numerous restores using different combinations of options, the most successful has been using options: Make drive active, restore original disk signature and restore MBR. I select the restore anyware option and deselect all hidden options except for delete existing drivers and prompt for drivers ( I should note I have never seen the "prompt" for drivers)
Any ideas?

Just a confirmation about have you unchecked the option of "Run Mini setup"....??
If not then try the restore again be deselecting that option.

Yes I have tried that route as well.
