Internal Error 8027 on Acer 4062

Hi,

I've been attempting a recovery on my acer laptop 4062, with Ghost 8.2 which is all pre-installed,

It got about 60% of the way through them stopped witht he message "internal error 8027" "An internal inconsistancy has been detected..."

How do I move on from this, as I'm now worried that I'm about to lose all my work files?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated

There is a very good possibility that something going wrong with the USB connection. USB connections under DOS may not be reliable as much as under Windows.

Could you try creating the image in a different place once it fails? The other option is to use Ghost32 under WinPE.

If you have access upgrade to new version above Ghost 8.2, Many users don’t bother changing Ghost.exe even they have licenses for new version :) However, the current issue you are facing should be related to what I mentioned above.
