Issue with error E1AD3212 after installation

I have installed Backup Exec Recovery 2010 onto a Windows Server 2003 R2.

Everytime after the reboot and we get to the splash screen we click next and get "You do not have sufficient prvileges to perform this operation" and an error code of E1AD3212.

I have tried uninstalling, running the uninstall batch file for BESR2010, rebooting and re-instyalling.

I have tried repairing .Net 2.0 Sp2 via installer and adding users to the security through the Symantec Security Tool.

I cannot think of anything else to try and this is now becomiong an issue as we need a backup.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Unfortunately this error is quite generic and has many different root causes.

Your best bet is to open a case with support.
