I have SSR 2011 Agent (build 10.0.1.41704) installed on three different laptop models from Dell. All are controled by the Symantec System Recovery 2011 Management Console. All fail either by schedule or manually. I have also tired the three performance registry setting even though they were not reconmneded for laptop users. SSR 2001 still fails. I have tuned down the CPU to 10%. They still fail.
The issue is that after a period of time after a scheduled bSSR 2011 backup job starts the wireless adpater drops the connection. I have 802.11g with excellent connection quality (54Mb). I even went a bouth a brand new Netgear ProSafe 360N AP. Throughput has increased a bit but the connection still drops.
I have run out of options. Please help

Whats the actual error message in the event log ?

Yes, I was able to resolve this issue. I found these files in another Symantec SSR 2011 post. Strangely enough the "DefaultPerformance" reg file was the fix for me. I did try the others only to see worse results. I applied this to all of my desktops and laptops. Performance has improve a lot.
