I’m using system Recovery on a 2003 Server R2. Trying to backup to USB drives. The back was working. There is about 100G on the C drive (backup was about 75G and took a little over an hour). Now, when I kick off a full backup of the C drive, the job goes to a successful and completed state (no errors) in a couple of minutes. The backup is a total of 256.1 KB. I have tried different USB drives (formatted NTFS). I have reinstalled SSR and no luck. (Using full VSS and ignore bad sectors). With no errors, I’m not sure what to try next.

Any hints in the SSR eventlog? Can you open a suppport call for this?

Can you provide more information when you say:
"The back was working"
Did the backup run succesfully only once?
What changed?
Are you able to backup to another device?
Is SSR 2013 fully updated?
