Updating SSR 2013 without network access

Dear all,

  Is there any other method to update symantec system recovery 2013 without liveupdate? I cannot access network at my site office. And also, how to configure the backup job to overwrite the previous image? It's really struggling. Please kindly help to advice. Thanks all

There are currently no updates for SSR 2013 (SP1 will be released soon).

We provide a download installer for each service pack which you will find here:

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&key=53845&channel=TECHNICAL_SOLUTION&basecat=PATCHES&sort=recent

This is an alternative way of updating if you cannot use LiveUpdate.

And also, how to configure the backup job to overwrite the previous image?

This should happen by default. For example, if you specify to keep 2 recovery point sets, the following will happen:

1. Set 1 is created
2. Set 2 is created
3. Set 3 is created. Once this is done, set 1 is removed
