Hello ,
I need a help please.
I tried to install the agent Back up but i have a fail installation withe this message.I don't know how i can fix it.Thank for Your help

I resolve the problem By delete Every file ,folder who have name like Symatec or Backup exec.

Try a local install of the remote agent using this KB - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH179142
If the local install fails as well, would you pls provide the install log.

Hi,
Try a manual installation of the RAWS agent as per below:
http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH179142
Also make sure that no AV installed on that server is blocking the installation. If an AV is installed, disable and stop it during the process.

I didable the Antivirus but it is the samething

Would you post the RAWS install file (rawsinst.htm).. Depending upon the media server OS, it's located at either one of these locations ~
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Backup Exec\Logs for Windows 2003 servers
OR
C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Backup Exec\Logs\rawsinst.htm for Windows 2008 servers

...matter of interest, but what OS are you trying to install this on? Windows Server 2012 R2 for instance is currently not supported.

The client Backup Exec is Servr 2088 sp1 32bit et the server Backup Exec is Serveur 2008 R2 .

...have you tried a reboot of the server before a reinstall of the RAWS agent?

...and he BE service account used for the installation has local admin rights on that server?
