Backup Exec 2012 Console Not Responding

Just installed Backup Exec 2012 with all service packs, hot fixes etc.  I have it installed on a Windows 2003 Small Business Server with SP2.  I can open Backup Exec but the console enters "not responding" and crashes at random times.  I can replicate the problem every time I try to go into the storage tab and configure any kind of media settings.

The backup is running successfully but the console crashing/not responding has really caused issues with configuration. 

Please advise.

Do you have the latest version of .Net Framework installed on this machine?

I will give that a try this evening....updating .NET Framework and respond back tomorrow.  Thanks for the suggestion.

This appears to have solved it.  After the .NET updates it seems to be running much better.

Also realized Windows Update was not working at all.  Fixed two problems with one issue.  Thanks.
