BackupExcec12.5 +Windows2008(64-bit) +exchange2007 +agent

hi,

First I'm going to explain how the situation is:

Win2003standSP2 -> BackupExec12.5 for windows Servers installed

Win2008standSP1 -> BackupExec agent installed (pushed by the win2003server)

i can't backup my exchange server, i keep getting errors:

Set type               : Backup
Set status             : Completed
Set description        : Full Saturday Backup

Resource name          : \\<servername> \Microsoft Information Store\Second Storage Group
Logon account          : <domain>\administrator
Encryption used        : None

Error                  : e0001207 - To support individual mailbox message and folder restores from Information Store backups, you must download and install the Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects package version 06.05.7888 or later on the Exchange 2007 serve

Agent used                     : Yes
Advanced Open File Option used : Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS)

what can i do to solve the problem? i urgently need to backup my exchange.......

Hi hopefully you have figured out by now that you need to install Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects on your backup server (as per the error message)

yes, bu the Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects  is only downloadable in 32-bit. can i install this on my 64-bit system??

its 64bit installation, since exchange2007 offically only supports 64bit architecture
