Just be aware that the term "bare metal recovery" can mean get back everything and/or get back just the bootable operating system depending on what is in the server that was backed up and how the backup product works.
For Backup Exec bare metal recovery means get back the bootable operating system, however extra steps may be needed to recover database data. This is because Backup Exec may need the application services (i.e. Exchange or SQL etc) to be available in order to restore the data into the application and this is not possible in a recovery envrionment.
Typically file system backup products that protect database with API calls into the database technology need multi-step DR restores, whereas Block/Volume/Image level backup products can do single pass restores but may be less flexible with optios for restore methods and granularity
