In July, I installed Exchange 2007 and set up backups using BackupExec 12.5. things were working fine until we had some major hardware issues with our new server - system board was replaced 3 times, Dimm's were replaced 4 times, and the processors were both replaced. Since that time, backups have not been happening on the server. The Exchange SErver is 64 bit, Windows 2008 server. The domain controller is Windows 2003, 32 bit. Symantec BackupExec resides on the domain controller. There are only 3 servers in this DMZ. the other server is the soon-to-be retired Exchange 2003 server. The error messages are as follows:

I am using the backup to disk option onto the domain controller. the old email server backs up perfectly. The new server never gets past 60 MB and backs up at a rate of 1 MB per minute. I already uninstalled and reinstalled BackupExec and installed the latest sp. I installed the latest Windows updates. I defragged the drive that contains the backups. I uninstalled and reinstalled the agent on the email server. I made sure that the agent points to the correct backup exec server.
