No Resources Redirected Restore after a domain name change

We renamed our domain, and now I wanted to restore data but am running into a problem.  The backup sets were done with the old domain name, and when I try to redirect the restore anywhere there are no resources in the list to choose from.

I see there is a process by which I can change the domain name associated with the media server, but haven't done so for fear of not being able to restore this critical data.

Any idea?

Stop the SQL services (instance used by BE). Grab a copy of the Data & Catalog folders. Restart the SQL service and then run BEUtility to update the media server configuration. The actual data which is present on the disk or tape is not affected by this domain name update in BE and secondly, you have a copy of the Backup Exec database.

Post the name change, inventory and catalog the storage media and then attempt the restore.
