Problems with SDR and disk layout

Hi Community,

we have a problem with SDR via CD-ROM (Backup Exec 2012 SP4).

We backup 2 different servers with SDR.

When we want to recover one of them with the SDR CD-ROM we went into problems, with the other server not.

We start a server with the SDR CD-ROM, Login Backup Exec server and select a backup set. So far okay.

Then comes "Do you want to use this volume layout for the selected backup sets" and nothing happens. No layout comes up and no chance to go on with Next.

Slide "Volumes" is empty, slide "Preview" shows the actual drive layout of the HDD.

Under "Advanced disk configuration" we can see the current disk layout, which is okay and the original disc layout from the restore image which is okay too.

It is not possible to go on because no drive layout comes up.

It is independant from which backup set is selected!

When the job for this backup set was created, was the SDR light on?

Yes, the green light was on

Maybe could be an issue with the .DR file not containing the original volumes layout or maybe the volumes are offline. Would recommend you to log a formal support case as don't recall any specific issue as such.
