Removing logon account when owner AD account has been deleted

Dulf
Not applicable

Version 14 SP1

The user account and the system logon account are owned by an AD account that no longer exists. How can I edit or delete an account in this state?

Thanks for your time!

Logon as another domain admin, go to the BE console and simply delete this unwanted account.  You would be prompted to replace this account with another account for jobs which use this unwanted account.

Extra info: If you have any restricted accounts or encryption keys (inside Backup Exec) that were created by the user account that you have deleted (in other words this account was logged on and used to start the Backup Exec Admin console before cerating the accounts), then this account and keys may also have ongoing problems and will need resetting. Common accounts and keys are less likely to experience issues.

I hope you have the excryption key passphases documented somewhere.
