HI,

We are having a problem to make backup of our SAP database, the job stay on backupexec in status running, but we dont have any backup activity.
I try the document 263315, but without success.

I would suggest changed back the reg key change you did from 263315 - most probably won't help in this situation.

Have your SAP backups worked at all? or is this is a first time setup?

Can you backup the drives that SAP is installed on? (this will test to make sure the backup works, and the drive is functional).

Have you changed the tape drive or reconfigured your library lately? Check out http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/249490.htm if you have.

Do you get anything in the backup logs on the SAP server?
Also are using sapdba or the CCMS console to send your jobs?
