...duplicate the Information Store to disk, and then try the restore from there.

I also assume you have the correct rights to Exchange, as per the TN below?

Thanks!

...you don't mention the version of Exchange used, but I found the TNs below:

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH190749

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH171282

This is for Exchange 2010 though...

Thanks!

...you tagged this as BE 12.x. BE 12.x is not supported at all on Server 2008 R2, with BE 2010 R3 which does needing to be installed at a minimum.

Your options in this case (assuming you are running BE 12.x) are to upgrade to either BE 2010 R3 with the latest SPs and patches, or move to BE 2014 with SP1 and the latest patches.

Thanks!

Please do not refer to BE 2012 as BE 12 which is an older version of BE. It is very confusing. Your configuration is supported

BE 12.0 and BE 12.5 do not support Server 2008 R2 at all.

BE 2010 R3, BE 2012 and BE 2014 do. Check the SCL below:

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH56442

I think that if you're running BE 12 you're lucky.

Thanks!
