VCS Alarms autoclear

Hi,

 

I have implemented the VCS snmp agent in the VCS configuration (CluesterService) through the notifier wizard.

The alarm are generated successfully but my question is more like "Do the Veritas alarms get autoclear" after we fix for example a faulty resource.

Hi,

 

The SNMP message are linked to the messages that appear in the engine_a.log. Once you resolve and issue and its not logged in the engine_a.log, it will not be sent to SNMP server either. All depends on the severity you've selected but the message should stop once the fault is cleared.
