add new node to the live cluster

Hi,
I added a new node to the live cluster. Because of some heartbeat issues, I had to start the HAD on 2 nodes only. I started gab using 2 nodes (gabconfig -c -n2). LLT config can see 3 nodes, however node 3  link shows down, which is expected.
My question is when the node 3's hearbeat gets fixed, can you just issue gabconfig -c -n3, without restarting gab on the live cluster?

Thanks
Kapil

When node 3 starts, it will join the cluster. You only need to use gabconfig when all nodes are not present at gab start time. You should only run a gabconfig command on one system. Once the node starts up, the others will then find a running node in the cluster and request a copy of main.cf from the running nodes memory. So when node 3s heart beats work, you should have to do nothing but watch it join.
