Hello EV Admins
We're running users on Enterprise vault server 9.0.1.1073, Outlook 2007/2010, EV 9.0.1,9.0.3,10.0.1 clients using vault cache & virtual vault.
I just had this quick wondering, if there's a way to bypass OVEnabled = 0? For example, some smart user decides to disable vault cache on his workstation by going to:
HKCU\KVS\Client\StoreID\OVEnabled = 0
Once he sets to 0 and restarts Outlook client. After that vault cache is disabled on his/her workstation.
Now, as admin, I try to synchronize his mailbox, Do run now, zap his archive and re-enable same and sync again. But vault cache doesn't turns on.
So just wondering if there's some special trick to bypass local registry from EV backend? Or we'll have to delete the registry and restart Outlook or set it to 1 to get it back working?
Just a wondering !
Thanks in advance !

The registry will override any policy setting so you will need to delete the registry key or set it to 1.
