EV Index getting full
How can I perform a cleanup on EV indexes? My manager specifically told me to check that backup (we are using NBU 7.5.0.5) for EV is working properly. How can this backup be related with cleaning up disk space? Also he told me to check the archiving.
I told him to move the indexes to different drives but he wants me to verify the above.
Can you, experts, enlight me on this? Thanks.

Backups won't have much to do with space but it is good to make sure you have them.
You can't really cleanup Indexes. They will grow unless you actually are doing storage expiry.
If you are running low on space and are on EV 10 you can close the existing location and open new ones, otherwise you need to move some of the volumes to a new drive.
