Enterprise Vault - Virtual Vault best practices on setting the policy

Hi,

I'm setting up Virtual Vault (VV) and I'm working my way through the EV Mailbox Policy settings for Virtual Vault.
Most of the settings are related to using Virtual Vault to either store e-mail data from your mailbox directly in VV or retrieve e-mail data from VV to your mailbox by copy, move and/or drag and drop.

I have the following situation:
- Virtual Vault should be enabled for users
- User are not allowed to  drag/drop, copy or move to and from the VV
- Users are not allowed to delete archived data from their Vault (only the shortcut)

The following settings prevent me from doing so:
Users can Archive Items --> No
Users can copy items to another store --> No
Users can copy items within their archive --> No
Users can hard delete items --> No
Users can reorganize items --> Yes / No as users are allowed to move items to another location (let's say a project folder)

My Question is about the other policy settings related to this regarding: max # attempts, Max size (MB) etc.
As I'm not using the "drag/drop, copy, move" features, can I just
a. "discard" these settings (KEEP THE DEFAULT)
b. use "low" settings
c. set everything to "zero" --> or will this have another negative effect on the functionality of VV.

Any experience with this and the way the other settings can be configured (see below)

Max archive requests per synchronization
Max attempts to archive an item
Max data archived per synchronization (upload) MB
Max delete requests per synchronization
Max size to archive (dropped in Virtual Vault) MB
Max item updates per synchronization
Max total size of content less operations
Max total size of items to archive

Thanks
