FSA - .jpg files not archiving

Hello

the folder policy is successfully archiving variious file types

last week I added a new rule specifically for .jpg files :-

folder policy - rules - new rule - .jpg

(see attached)

I guess I could just add .jpg to an existing rule but wanted to keep jpg separate.

Any how the event logs show a successful start and completion 40983 and 40987

Is there a log file or report I can view to identify the cause of failure here

Hi 

I have looked in the file system archiving task log file and note that the archives store is in back up mode e.g.

05/05/2014 21:25:05    \\fileserver.fabrikam.com\Projects\300000\NON PROJECT\BUSATION CANOPY\EXAMPLES\HGreen\2011-09-20\027.JPG    105041    Copy of Default FSA Folder Policy    Jpegs    ARCHIVE     *** Error *** - The archive's store is currently in backup mode. Exception from HRESULT: 0xC0041B85

Lois2010,

Is there anything on the 'Time and Size' or 'Attributes' tab for that rule?  

Do the files show in the archiving task report as being archived?  

Only a Dtrace of the EvFsaArchivingTask on the EV server where the task is run will be able to tell why the file is being skipped.  The report will only show files that had an action taken.
